I need to update an email address
The Simpli5 platform allows users to update a member's email address. This can be done first-hand by the member, or an account administrator can update the email address on the member's behalf.
Updating your own email address (all members)
- At the My 5 Dynamics page, tap "Edit Profile" beneath the Welcome Back heading, then at the next screen tap "Edit" Account Information.
- Next to Email Address, tap "Update Email" to open the Update Email popup.
- In the popup, update the email address then tap "Save" to submit the change.
- To cancel without saving, use the X in the top-right of the popup.
- An email will be sent to the updated address with a verification code. Copy and paste the code from the email into the Code Validation popup then tap "Save."
- You will see a confirmation message at the top of the page. The next time you log back in to Simpli5, you will need to use your updated email address; your password remains unchanged.
Updating another's email address (Account Administrators)
- At the Network page, open the member's profile whose email you need to update.
- At the bottom of the Summary Panel, tap "Account Information."
- Next to Email Address, tap "Update Email" to open the Update Email popup.
- In the popup, update the email address then tap "Save" to submit the change.
- To cancel without saving, use the X in the top-right of the popup.
- You will see a confirmation message at the top of the page, but the platform will NOT notify the member of this change.
- As is appropriate within your organization, you should confirm the change with the member, specifically that the next time they log back in to Simpli5, they will need to use the updated email address; however, their password remains unchanged.
